Are you thinking of moving to Bradford? Well, that’s a great idea, Bradford West Gwillimbury is a great place to live, and as such has a strong housing market. As you can see from this site, there’s a lot happening here. Aside from the food, entertainment and events around Bradford, we have a strong job market, we’re centrally located on the highway 400 corridor and soon the Bradford bypass will provide a direct link to the 404 highway corridor as well. This will cement Bradford as the premier commuter community north of Toronto.

Over the past decade, Bradford has seen growth in nearly every direction of the compass, with nearly every type of housing being addressed. The housing market is showing strong growth in all sectors, from high-end executive-style housing in the sub-divisions of Summerlyn and West Park to smaller townhouses, condos downtown and single-family detached in Simcoe Garden. Even the recent housing downturn hasn’t affected Bradford as sharply as many other communities, with the average 3-bedroom home only falling by 13% (year over year between March 2022 and March 2023).

And although house prices have fallen, Bradford is poised to recover, with demand rising again while supply stays flat. In fact, the Bradford housing market is projected to strengthen given its unique geographic location and rising demand for the housing types that Bradford offers.

These factors in conjunction with the coming link between highways 400 and 404 should ensure that Bradford is an attractive place to live and experiences strong growth for years to come.
